Can I use Pinter Packs with Hoppers in the Pinter 1?Updated a month ago

Any Pinter Packs that don’t include a Hopper are fully compatible with the Pinter 1.

We know it can be tempting to experiment, but Pinter Packs that do include a Hopper aren’t recommended for use with the Pinter 1.

Why Not?

• Hoppers are designed specifically for the Pinter 3, which includes a dedicated Hopper inlet at the back for safe and precise use.

• The flavour is extremely concentrated, and each Hopper is carefully tailored to the specific Fresh Press it comes with.

• Once unsealed, the Hopper starts to oxidise, which can spoil the flavour of your beer if added manually.

What If I Add It Directly?

• You risk overpowering the brew or creating an unbalanced flavour.

• Adding it after tapping or dropping it into the beer isn’t recommended — you won’t get the perfectly hopped beer we’ve designed for you.

For the best experience, we suggest choosing Pinter Packs without a Hopper for use with the Pinter 1.
