Can I mix and match the Brewing Yeasts and Fresh Presses?Updated 17 days ago

We offer five different yeasts which will come with your Fresh Press. These four are:

• Loyalty: A mild English ale strain designed to let malt or hop-forward flavours really shine.
• Rise: A highly flavourful, high-ester strain created specifically for wheat and Belgian-style beers.
• Vigour: A fast-fermenting strain specifically tailored for ciders.
• Spark: A highly versatile strain suitable for both ales and lagers, delivering clean, well-balanced flavours across a wide range of fermentation temperatures.
• Ghost: A versatile strain somewhat similar to Spark, but featuring added complexities designed specifically for brewing our Ghost Ship remixed.
• Glimmer: A clean-fermenting strain tailored specifically for brewing crisp, refreshing hard seltzers.

Each Brewing Yeast has been specifically tailored to match and complement each style of  Fresh Press, so we do not recommend using Yeast from a different style of Pinter Pack.

We’re currently transitioning from Loyalty to Spark yeast, with some of our Pinter Packs. Some Fresh Presses may still include Loyalty, despite saying Spark on the website, don’t worry - both yeasts will make an incredible fresh beer!
